Why do some links go to kakox.com instead?

Catalogue links (kakox.com/product/…) open a browsable product page with cached images and live price. Distribution links (the raw Weidian or Taobao URL) are what you paste into an agent. This index gives you both on every find.

Can I shorten or reformat a Weidian link?

Yes — most agents accept the plain itemID URL and ignore tracking parameters. If a link has extra query strings, trimming everything except itemID is safe.

Anatomy of a Weidian link

Take https://weidian.com/item.html?itemID=7775396763&wfr=c&ifr=itemdetail:

weidian.com — the marketplace.
/item.html — the listing endpoint.
itemID=7775396763 — the only part that matters. This is the seller's item number.
wfr, ifr and similar — tracking and referrer hints the marketplace itself adds. Agents ignore them, and you can delete them safely.

Taobao works the same way with item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=<number>, and 1688 with detail.1688.com/offer/<number>.html.
